VPP Trust: Administer and manage the spending account and trust. Responsible for tax filings, storing legal documents, transfer of trustees, etc.
Pet: Dog, cat or any household pet.
Pet Owner: The owner of the Pet. The owner makes deposits into the money market account. The owner can use the funds available in the money market account using a debit card.
Money Market: The account where money is deposited into and funds are deducted from when the debit card is used by the owner or trustee.
Debit Card: This is the purchase card (VISA/MC/Amex) the Pet Owner or Trustee use to pay for the care of the Pet.
Trustee: This is the designated caretaker of the pet. The owner makes a list of potential caretakers in case the pet survives the pet owner.
Veterinarian: The veterinarian provides the yearly-required check-up and verifies that the pet is taken care of properly. The veterinarian also sell the VPP Trusts to pet owners.
